How can I create an account?

Download the ixat app from the App Store or Google Play, then create an account with your cell phone number. You also need to add a payment method before ordering the first trip.

How do I order a trip?

When you're ready to travel, open the app and enter your destination. Then choose the travel option that best suits your needs. Confirm your collection by selecting Confirm.

Is ixat Ridesharing available in my city?

You can find ixat Ridesharing in all cities in mainland Portugal.

Can I use ixat Ridesharing without a smartphone?

No. It is not possible to use ixat Ridesharing without the application.

How is the price calculated?

The price of the trip is calculated based on:

Base fare: the price for the pick up; 

Fare per minute: the time from start to finish of the trip;

Fare per km: distance of the route travelled;

Dynamic price: if applicable.

You will be able to view the estimated price for each category after adding your destination address in the ixat App. This estimate is the best we can offer considering the best route and estimated time of arrival.

The final price may vary depending on other factors, such as traffic, weather, road works, route different from the estimated one or destination changes made during the trip.

What forms of payment does ixat accept?

So far, it is only possible to pay by credit card, debit card and with an available balance in the ixat wallet.
